Hey Marg, I have both Sunbeam and GMP. I love both products! I think that Sunbeam shows up a little bit more than GMP (depending on how much you apply of course.) Also Sunbeam has a tiny bit of color. So if you put it just on your cheeks it will give you a sun kissed look while GMP will just give you a highlight. Hope that is helpful!
HOW TO APPLY
Glow on gorgeously.
Look like a beach babe...with or without a day by the sea. Dot sun beam on cheekbones & blend towards the hairline. Dab under each brow & gently blend. Add wherever you’d like a little radiance: bridge of the nose, forehead and Cupid’s bow. For all-over sunkissed & sexy, start with hoola, our award-winning matte bronzer, then apply sun beam for a brilliant golden finish.
Complete Your Look
multi-balancing complexion perfector
lash-hugging gel liner pen
PRO balm to minimize the appearance of pores
famously provocative cheek powder

Girl Meets Pearl or Sun Beam? Hi! So I have been deciding for the longest time whether to get GMP or Sun Beam. They both look so pretty! But I don't know which one would suit me better. I have a filipino complexion.. I get pretty tan in the summer but in the winter time the lightest I get is maybe NC40 - NC42 (Sorry, that was the only exact shade I could think of :S) I have yellow undertones, so which one would be better on me? Thanks so much :)
Sun beam suits every one as does girl meets pearl, but think of sunbeam as say a blusher/bronzer and gmp as more of a highlighter, hope this helps
You wont be sorry with sun beam especially if your tan. Plus you get a 3 in one product. If you still can't decide go to your local makeup counter and try the samples but I can say also being a medium/deep skintone and that I have tried both that sun beam is the way to go. Its a perfect golden, non orange glow.
what is sun beam?
Its like a bronzer/highlighter but can be mixed with moisturiser to give an all over glow or just used under blusher to brighten your cheeks up
It's a golden bronze highlighter that will give your face a nice bronze look.
Sun Beam is a golden bronze highlighter that gives you a natural, sunkissed radiance. Dot & blend over makeup on to cheek & brow bones for a bronzed glow that complements all skintones. It’s liquid sunshine in a bottle!
Does it work sorta like a bronzing powder? Or does it just create highlights? Does this tint work like bronzing powder for semi-light skin? Like could I stick this in my togo makeup bag for whenever I don't have time to brush on some bronzer and it give me an 'awake' tan? I am hoping yes, because thats what I am looking for. If this is not it, answer with other products by benefit (or not) that could help me out! Much appreciated :)
I use it under my blusher so i would say yes!!! try it you will love it
This definitely isn't something you want to use as a bronzing powder. It's just like the High Beam; it's a highligher. It has a golden shimmer and makes you glow. The only area I would suggest putting it is your high cheek bones, brow bone and your cupid's bow. I think if you wanted to throw something into your bag for an instant bronzing powder, I would just throw a box of Hoola in your bag; it even comes with a brush, so you never really have to worry about hauling a bunch of things with you! Also, if you match Hoola with the Hoola lipgloss, it's gorgeous! Hope that helps!
Sun Beam is golden bronze highlighter gives you a natural, sunkissed radiance. Dot & blend over makeup on to cheek & brow bones for a bronzed glow that complements all skintones. It’s liquid sunshine in a bottle! If you want a bronzer, try hoola. Dust this soft bronze powder over your complexion for a healthy, natural looking "tan" year-round. No tanning bed necessary! Complete with soft, natural-bristle cheek brush. It's pure color - no sparkle and no shine!
