Difference Hi, good afternoon I do not know what is the differente between this tint and the others. Does it depends on the skin color? My skin is white so I supposed that I have to use benetint, right? Thanks for you help.
Hi gorgeous! All of our tints look great on every skin tone! These lip and cheek stains are long-lasting and buildable...you can use one coat for a soft wash of color or several coats for an extra pop. Here are some other differences: --Benetint: a sexy sheer-rose shade for a sweet hint of color --Posietint: a poppy pink shade for a natural flush --Chachatint: a sassy mango shade for a warm tropical sunset hue --Lollitint: a candy-orchid pink for a POP of dreamy sweetness Have fun, gorgeous! xoxo, B
Ho long does it last?
I have very oily skin in the summer. It lasts for a good 5-6 hours me on me and gradually fades away.
Hi gorgeous! Benetint will give you a natural looking flush that lasts all day! xoxo, B
Can pregnant women use this product?
Hey hot mama, all our cosmetics and skincare products are perfectly safe to use while pregnant…but just to be super cautious, we recommend waiting until after your baby is born to use Benefit body products. We hear you’re glowing anyway.
Remove with normal cleanser? If i'm not putting on foundation or any powder but only the benetint on top of moisturizer, is it okay to wash off with normal cleanser or facial soap?
Hello dear, Sometimes I put it directly on top of my Porefessional. I wash it off with my normal cleanser and there's no skin issue afterwards. Just make sure you wash it properly. My skin is combination and acne-prone. Hope this helps ;)
Absolutely! For a flushed look, without a foundation or powder base this will wash off with a gentle cleanser no problem.
Hi JoyJoy! Although benetint lasts all day (yay!) you can easily remove it with a normal cleanser or facial soap, which is what I use. I've never had to use make-up remover or hard scrubbing to get benetint off - normal cleanser works like a charm!
Yes, it will come off.
How to apply? I was curious how to apply Benetint using a blush brush?
Just dab it on your cheeks or lips! Remember a little goes a long way!
I don't think I would recommend a blush brush. They should be fluffy so you can build colors with a powder or cream to powder base. I would recommend a foundation brush, or a cosmetic sponge to blend this tint with.
Agree w/Kellie...use fingers, much easier...and better application
I have never applied it using a blush brush. I put three dots along my cheeks and then blend it in quickly.
Does this color work if you have a dark skin tone? Also, can a dark skinned person use porefessional?
Both Benetint and Porefessional can be used by a dark skinned person.
It depends how deep your skin tone is. Your best bet would be to drop by a boutique or counter near you to try both products. POREfessional is a translucent, oil-free formula that complements all skintones and helps makeup stay put. Contains a Vitamin E derivative, known to protect skin from free radicals.
Does the stain work well with oily skin? How does the stain look towards the end of the day? I tend to notice that with oily skin, my blush can start to look blotchy. Does it keep its color pretty well?
Hi Joelle! I have incredibly oily and sensitive skin - this product works very well! It stays on all day, and it's not a heavy or creamy product. I hope this helps! I've been using it for over a year and I absolutely love it:)
YES! i have a pretty oily face. but it stays and dont change! i love it. But you need to put extra layers if you buy benetint thou coz the color seems to be hard to be seen if you just put a little.
I haven't had any blotchiness problems when I wear stains on my cheek. I have combination skin (very sensitive, incidentally) and so far, I haven't had that problem. Try the box o' powders instead.
What can I do to make benetint last longer on my lips? For some reason my benetint doesn't stay very long on my lips, sometimes even just for an hour. I apply it with a brush on my dry lips. I don't excpect it to last a whole day, but I always thought it would last for some hours? Any tips? Or do I apply it the wrong way? Thank you!
I've noticed that benetint doesn't last so long if you are applying it to dead skin. Use a lip scrub or toothbrush to first buff any dead skin cells from your lips. I also like to apply it twice. Once to outline my lips, then once over again to get any spots I missed or need more color. Hope I helped!(:
Perhaps the skin of your lips is very dry and it absorbs the product very quickly, in which case you could also use Benetint lip balm to prevent additional dryness. If you apply it with the specific brush of the product, I don't see any reason why you should be applying it the wrong way.
how do you correct a mistake with tints? Been reading about how we need to blend the tints really fast or you'll end up with a big red/pink/coral dot on your cheeks that won't go away no matter what you do. Let's say there are streaks or dots or whatever and I want to clean it off...won't makeup remover work? Or am I doomed to walk around all day looking like a clown? I know tints seep into the top layer of the skin, so not sure if makeup removers would work BTW, my order's late!! ;) Zenobia
For correcting mistakes with tints, I suggest you try using Remove it makeup remover. Concealers such as erase paste should also be useful.
Makeup remover should do the job! To be on the safe side, apply your tint to a blush brush instead. This will also avoid having the tips of your fingers stained for the day ;) Regarding your order, we are so sorry it's late! What is the best way to use benetint?
Well normally i put in the middle of my foundie and my powder. use stipple brush to apply coz the color might stay in your hand.
Lips and cheeks! For lips I brush it on and layer depending on how dark I want it... add gloss or leave matte. For cheeks I dot it on the apples of my cheeks and blend lightly. Don't rub it in so much that it is totally dry and you will get better color. You can layer it to make it darker
I think that you cant go wrong with using it on your lips. A small bit, and nobody will ever know you're wearing anything but makes them lovely and rosy. It is also extremely easy to apply. Cheeks also look extremely natural with it on, but i think it is harder to apply, especially making it even on each cheek. To use it, I would wipe the brush on the lip, as only a small bit is needed and it can drip. Put two small dots on each lip and rub in. For cheeks use a bit more. Do one cheek at a time, as you don't have much time to rub it in. Put three dots on each cheek and quickly but gently rub in. I would start on the apples of the cheek and move up to the hairline. Hope this helps.
Brush three strokes of Benefit’s popular rose-colored tint on theapple of your cheek and blend quickly with fingertips. Dot on lips & blend with fingertip. For a deeper “pop” of color, repeat.
How to apply without streaking How do I apply Benetint without streaking? I usually apply You Rebel then Benetint on top, but it always looks uneven and blotchy. I get more color in one area than other places and so forth. I'd like to know how to correct this problem please.
I find the best way to apply this is similar to Patty stated. I allow my You Rebel to dry/soak in completely before adding anything else on top, ESPECIALLY BeneTint (or any stain). Not letting your moisturizer/foundation soak/dry completely can lead to the stain making little rivulets and streaks, at least in my experience. Anyway, once my base layer is dry & ready, I just use the little nail polish-like brush that is IN the product to apply a few streaks to only one cheek at a time, in the shape & direction you want to achieve. The moment you make those streaks, blend immediately with your preferred fingertips (for me, it's pointer and middle fingers) to achieve the distribution you desire. Go to the other side and apply the same way. Work QUICKLY when your goal is to blend a stain. If you'd like a little bit more colour, then apply one or two more streaks to one side, blend quickly again, then go to the other side and repeat. Repeat til you achieve the desired richness. Another very similar way I've seen Benetint applied is to use the enclosed brush to make small dots on your cheeks in the shape you're trying to achieve, then blend as you would with the streak method I prefer. After you achieve the hue and distribution you like, apply a thin dusting of translucent setting powder for maximum wear (even without the powder, you'll get easily 12 hours out of an application).
I apply benetint and while its still wet i pat my ring finger on my lips. this usually soaks up the excess product. this works for me, i hope it works for you aswell
Make sure You Rebel has been completely absorbed before applying Benetint. You need to work quickly with cheek stains to avoid streaking. I usually apply Benetint on my blush brush and then sweep across my cheeks. Hope this helps!
Which one do i apply first? Which one do i apply first? posie tint, high beam, some kind-a gorgeous or dandelion. I have also cha cha tint, benetint and moon beam. But i don't know how to mix and match..
It should be okay to apply in whichever order you want, starting with base makeup first, and if I own all of your products stated above, I would apply in this order: some-kind-a-gorgeous, posie tint, high beam then dandelion. Cha cha tint and benetint can take the place of posietint, and moon beam can take the place of high beam. Hope this helps :)
Imho, I suggest you this: 1) some kind-a gorgeous 2) high beam or moon beam 3) dandelion (cheekbone) 4) posietint/ benetint/ cha cha tin (apples of cheek) I don't like dandelion with cha cha tint because -it's my opinion- pink and coral are not so harmonic together. I think cha cha tint is perfect joint with coralist or sugarbomb because they're warmer.
It really is just your personal preference. I like to start with my foundation (some kind-a gorgeous), add blush (benetint, cha cha tint, posie tint, or dandelion) and finish off with a highlighter (high bean, or moon beam)
Does this have a taste? I read that there is fragrance, how about taste? Some lipstick and gloss have strong taste like the new Loccitane peony lipgloss.
Yes. It smells of roses. Not strong. I haven't tried a lip product that is rose scented but I got used to it. I apply the benetint lipgloss over it for shine. Works well!
I have not noticed a taste, but it smells amazing
In my experience of benetint, this doesn't have any taste :)
no it dries in 5 seconds so you dont have too much time to taste it...
It smells slightly like rosewater, it has a light scent and once you put it on your mouth you can taste it until it dries. It's not strong and the taste only lasts a few seconds while it dries.
Personally, the taste of Cha cha tint recalls me soft vanilla
