REVIEWS & QUESTIONS
Hi, I am very very pale and I am looking for a good universal blush/bronzer. Would this work for me? I am worried that this will be too dark and look more brown then a glow. Since it's finally summer I was looking for a universal powder that I could use everyday with any look. I'm cautious to make the jump considering the price. Im just trying to make sure that the color won't make me look like a clown. If I use a light hand do you think this will suitable for me?
Is it true that you guys are discontinuing dallas?
Hi gorgeous! We are retiring our Dallas ultra plush gloss, not the Box o' Powder! xoxo, B
Is this product suitable for dusky/tan skin with olive undertones? because i don't think hoola would be visible on my skin tone I am looking for a bronzer with a hint of color to wear during the day time without making it obvious that i have color on my cheek
Dallas is my absolute favorite! I sometimes use it as a blush or all over my face. It's a beautiful powder and I would definitely recommend it https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/dallas B xo
Notable shimmer? Hi! I rally want to try out dallas because I've been looking for a blush that will give me rosy, bronzy cheeks! Dallas seem pretty much perfect BUT I'm not a fan of shimmer blushes. I prefer my blushes to be matte or semi-matte. I don't mind if it just gives me a sheen/dewy look, but I really don't want to a notable shimmer on my cheeks... So does the shimmer create a semi-matte/dewy look, or does it give you notable shimmer if standing close to someone? Thanks! :)
Hi! I had the same doubts you have when I ordered Dallas, but I couldn't be happier with it now! It does have a very subttle shimmer, but nothing too obvious. It looks very natural, perfect to wear in daytime. It gives a healthy look to the cheeks and the colour is beautifull!
Hi, I purchased the Dallas blush and really like it, I was like you and didn't want a shimmer as so many blushers are like that now, and I can say there is no shimmer, it just gives you just a healthy dewy look.
Hi... absolutely it has a very mild shimmer, no little specs of glitter on your face - the effect is matte but a little dewy, just as you were hoping. Note: I work at Benefit so I wanted to disclose that in my reply, but this is my favorite of our Box O Powders so I just had to reply!
Hi! Blush only on the sun has sateen gloss. But look very naturally. These are the only blush which can be used for a contour of a shape of a face.
The shimmer does isn't notable, it is semi-matte on the face and it warms up your complexion beautifully , and you can also use it to contour your face and nose ( depending on your skin tone) I hope that was helpful :)
Dallas-no shimmer that I have noticed, but I would not mind that. It is matte, and rosy, but not bronze. Just rosy pinkish. I love it for my skin tone. It blends really well, and looks natural.
The shimmer isn't very noticeable. The blush has a semi matte finish.
is dallas a blusher as well as a bronzer?
it can be either! it probably depends on your skin tone (i'm light skinned, warm, green eyes, freckles) it works as both for me! i use it as a bronzer :)
Dallas is best described as a combination of both a bronzer and a blush. Since you're getting both effects in one product, it's best to remember a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it can leave you looking shimmering and red so remember subtlety is key. All you need is a little frosting on your nose, cheeks, and forehead.
Yes Dallas is blusher and a bronzer all in one!
yes, it is very rosy with the bronze color if super tan isnt your best color like for me. im fair so i have to use a very light and fluffy blush with just a little bit of it on. its pretty great otherwise.
Yes - it is a great blush for most skin tones, especially medium to dark tones. It is also a really nice warmer toned bronzer if you want to dust it lightly all over your face.
Yes, in fact I use it as a blush, not a bronzer.
