Difference between the highlighters Hi,I have that girl as base which already adds radiance. I also have girl meets pearl which I mix with my tinted moisturizer and I use high beam over my cupids bow n bridge of nose. Where shd I use my watts up then? And actually wats the difference between all of them other than colours and texture! I'm so confuse! I'm Asian with slight yellow undertone but fair skin and big dark brown eyes.
Use watts up on your cheek bones! Apply it at an angle. start a little lower then your temple and to the cheek bones. hope this helps :)
I use "watts up" where the light naturally hits my cheek bone and underneath put some bronzed to contour. I hope this helps!
You can use Watt's Up all over your face. You can add soft definition to your nose, by applying watt's up! down the bridge of your nose and blending. You can glide it on your cheek & brow bones to obtain the perfect glean. The possibilities are endless. Is the watt's up highlighter oil free ?
No it isn't oil-free.
I have VERY oily skin. Will Watt's Up work for me?
I think so. The product isn't very oily at all, but if you do not want to risk it, aim for either a powder highlight, or a liquid tint-like product, like highbeam. :)
If you do use this on oily skin I would suggest also using a setting powder to help it stay and prevent shine.
Watt's Up is suitable for all skin types.
Can this be used with a powder foundation, since this seems creamy?
It could yes, I would put your concealer, foundation etc all on, then gently run the stick of highlighter over your cheek bones in a line, dont press hard you don't need to. Then, take a finger and gently work the highlighter into your cheekbones in a circular motion but still following the shape of your cheek bones. It never lifts or disturbs my foundation so you should be fine as well :) hope this helps.
I've tried using this underneath regular face powder, and it looks good/natural, so I think this could also work well with a powder foundation. Just make sure to moisturize first before applying (because this could emphasize dry skin). After applying this, ensure to blend the edges using the built-in sponge (or your fingertips) so that you don't look like you have shimmery stripes on your face. And then after blending, you can put on your powder foundation. Hope this helps! :)
I only use a powder foundation (I don't like full foundations, I just do a very light powder one) and I haven't had any problems with it. It's kind of a cream-to-powder type product and once you swipe it, it turns into a powdery sort of glow. Hope that helps!
SURE! Hello Flawless, Playsticks, SKAG... any of them would mix wonderfully with Watt's Up...
does this have any shimmers or glitters?
No glitter and a very subtle sheen, I wouldn't call it a shimmer exactly....more like a glow.
It isn't glittery, it is shimmery and 'glowy'. Gives a soft natural glow to the face.
No, this highlighter isn't shimmery or glittery. It has a cream to powder finish and gives your complexion a luminous sheen.
I use i'm pure for sure foundation. Will this work on me or is it too dark?
It works on all skin colors! I know that cos all of my girl friends have one, cos I've made them buy it!
No i am extremely pale or fair and Watt up is perfect on me!!!
I have very fair skin, and use the same foundation. I loooove this product, it's a very subtle effect, not too dark at all.
Our soft focus highlighter turns on “watt” ya got with a delicate champagne glow that’s gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder finish...it’s a switch on “wow” for all complexions. You’ll adore the smooth applicator & luminous sheen.
Is Watt's Up good on dry/dehydrated skin?
I have very dry skin and its never caused me any problems! :)
Yes it is! Its very creamy and smooth. I don't have any problems with it, at least.
Hi! I had the same problem, but when I used this alongside the total moisture facial cream they complimented each other and helped rehydrate my skin!
Watts Up is great for dry skin as it contains shea butter which helps to moisturize.
Watt's up, high beam, &girl meets pearl which one is most visible?
It's a fight between watt's up and high beam, i guess it depends on how much u will apply. But definitively not girls meets pearl. They are just a tinny touch of glow.
On my very fair skin watt's up! is most visible because it has more color than the others. High beam gives my skin shine and girl meets pearl is barely noticeable if you have a lot of pink in your skin already.
I really like Girl Meets Pearl- its subtle and glowy without sunlight and in the sun it shines gold. However, I think if you want the most intense one I'd go with high beam. Watt's Up is pretty subtle. It's fairly colorless but it glows nicely.
I normally wear high beam (which I love) but last time I was at a benefit counter, the sales girl put Watt's Up on me. It's very visible - I really liked it and when I do my next big Benefit order, I'll be buying some.
I think Girl Meets Pearl is the most visible and shining.
Does your makeup work for African Americans???
Watt's Up paired with Hervana are a great mix! Watt's up shows up pretty dramatically on dark skintones, and I haven't found a skin color that Hervana didn't look good on. For a more subtle glow on dark skins, try Sun Beam!
Definitely. I think this would be a beautiful color- especially on African American skin tone. (Please note that besides the Watt's Up, I started selecting other products below that I thought would be great and started with Blush. Once closed out, I didn't have the option to add more. But obviously there are many options in each of the categories that would look beautiful on African American skin tone.)
